Naina alerted me to this (thank you Naina!) and I am excited. We get a glimpse of the SRK-Taapsee chemistry, and some really interesting visuals.
I like it! For the visuals more than the song. It’s really clever and old-school to have villagers dancing in the background. And I like adding in the Canadian/American/British flags to the whole thing. And I like the chemistry that seems to be Taapsee bossing SRK around (it’s always a good time when the lady he loves bosses him around).
And we get a bit of a plot explanation too! I’m gonna assume they met in English class, and getting married somehow helps them with getting a Visa, so they are married for convenience only simple SRK falls in love for real. Lots of interesting ways this could play out, SRK could not even want to leave the village but be willing to go for Taapsee. Or Taapsee could be tricking him and then falls in love with him and feels guilty. Or it’s just one of many plots about how people try to get Visas and they all play out next to each other.
