Though season 6 may have just ended, the buzz around Selling Sunset season 7 is already starting to ramp up. While the newest installment of the series had to find a new center of balance with the hole left by original cast member Christine Quinn, the rest of the Selling Sunset crew did their best to make sure the drama was in high gear throughout the season. At the very end of the final episode of the season, a super cut of clips from Selling Sunset season 7 was shown to give viewers an idea of what to expect from the upcoming season. With some intense moments, the preview was a drama-filled montage of the agents from The Oppenheim Group clearly defining the new social structure of the office. With Heather Rae El Moussa heavily pregnant, she likely won’t appear as frequently, while Amanza Smith, who revealed she may be in the midst of a health crisis during the end of Selling Sunset season 6, seems to have more of a presence in the preview.
When Does Selling Sunset Season 7 Premiere?
Though Selling Sunset season 6 just came out in May 2023, the next season may not be far behind. Filming for both seasons was back to back, as Netflix renewed Selling Sunset for two new seasons at once. As the newest season of Selling Sunset came out in early summer, if the scheduling for the upcoming season is similar to past iterations, it’s likely viewers will not have to wait long to see Selling Sunset season 7. Past seasons of the series have been released in the spring/summer and late fall of the same year, so Selling Sunset season 7 could hit Netflix by November 2023.
Which Cast Members Will Return For Sunset Season 7?
While the preview for Selling Sunset season 7 shows several of the cast members that appeared throughout the previous season, some cast members may be more present than others. Considering Selling Sunset season 6 ended with Chrishell choosing to follow G Flip on their Australian summer tour, her presence may be limited. Mary wasn’t shown throughout the preview, and while there were glimpses of star Chelsea Lazkani, they were minimal. Heather has publicly commented and said that after her maternity leave, she was not called back for filming. With the preview focusing primarily on Bre, Nicole, Emma, and Chrishell, the upcoming installment may feel a bit different from past seasons.
With Selling Sunset season 7 coming up quickly for Netflix, the streaming service clearly felt confident in the performance of the new season without having aired even an episode. Many are buzzing with excitement for even more Selling Sunset, hopeful that the drama will continue and the show’s veteran cast members will keep pushing the boundaries at The Oppenheim Group. Though Selling Sunset is currently only renewed through its next season, it feels like a given that the Netflix hit may be around for years to come.
