Former 90 Day Fiancé star Paul Staehle shared good news about how Karine Martins will soon regain custody of their kids. The 40-year-old Louisville resident and his former Brazilian partner lost their two sons to Child Protective Services (CPS) in 2021 after a video of their domestic fight leaked online. Since then, Karine has tried her best to get her kids back but has been unable to do much. In the meantime, her sons Pierre and Ethan Staehle have found a new family in foster care and have been living their childhood without parental drama like before.
Recently, Paul revealed the happy news with 90 Day Fiancé fans that Karine is getting closer to regaining custody of their kids. In his recent Instagram Story, the dad of two wrote, “Karine’s prayers have been answered,” adding that she found a solution after talking to their lawyers. Paul shared that Karine will complete her final class in nine weeks, allowing her to “regain custody from CPS per her lawyer.” He also added that his situation will be different, and he will not be able to be a part of his children’s life for “a bit longer.”

While Paul didn’t reveal why he couldn’t be with his kids, he recently sparked reconciliation rumors with Karine. In April 2023, he talked about how he’s back to creating OnlyFans content with her again. Later, it was revealed the former couple had decided to join teams to pay off lawyer fees and make some money. It seems that Karine only cares about getting her kids back, which suggests that her potential reconciliation with Paul is strictly transactional. Still, it is shocking that the two could be back, especially after all the drama they have been through over the years.
