A dozen of the eliminated American Idol season 21 contestants will be teaming up for a concert in Nashville later this month. The talent on American Idol season 21 is extraordinary, so it was inevitable that many fan-favorites would end up leaving the competition early. Judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan even had a challenging time narrowing down the contestants to a Top 24, so they created a Top 26 instead. Now there are only five finalists left in the competition, with the finale coming up on May 21.
Twelve of the American Idol season 21 Top 26 cast-offs will perform in a concert called The Losers Circle: Where Everyone Is A Winner on Monday, May 29. According to the Eventbrite page for the concert, Mariah Faith, Emma Busse, Matt Wilson, Dawson Wayne, Elise Kristine, PJAE, Nailyah Serenity, Kaeyra, Malik Heard, Michael Williams, Hannah Nicolaisen, and Olivia Soli will perform at Analog at Hutton Hotel in Nashville.
The concert is described as “a live show that brings national television’s newest aspiring voices on one of Nashville’s most iconic stages. The show’s title may suggest a sense of defeat, but the performances on stage couldn’t be further from it.”
American Idol Season 21 Contestants’ Concert Will Be Live Streamed
The Losers Circle: Where Everyone Is A Winner concert will feature the American Idol season 21 contestants singing new original songs as well as cover songs. For those who are not located in Nashville, Eventbrite’s live stream partner, Volume, will allow fans to purchase tickets to watch the show from their homes. American Idol season 21’s Matt and others promoted the concert on their Instagram pages, writing, “Our time on national television may have come to a close, but we’re not finished just yet. Join my friends and me for an incredible night of music that you WON’T wanna miss!”
American Idol used to have a live tour after every season, but that ended in 2018. It also only featured the top contestants, so this new concert featuring the American Idol season 21 Top 26 finalists performing together is very exciting. The Analog at Hutton Hotel’s official website describes the venue as a comfortable living-room style setting, which gives the audience an up close and personal view of the artists. This will be very different from the large crowds that the American Idol finalists performed for in Hawaii and Los Angeles, giving them the opportunity to give more intimate performances.
The 12 American Idol contestants performing in The Losers Circle: Where Everyone Is A Winner concert are far from losers. In fact, they were the best of the best in a season full of superb talent. Their musical styles and genres are very diverse, so there will be something for everyone in this concert. It will be a real treat for fans of American Idol to see them perform on stage again.
American Idol airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
