Rumors of a PlayStation 5 Pro model have circulated since the PS5’s original launch in 2020, but a new report claims it knows when the upgraded console will be released. A new report from Insider Gaming claims that the PS5 Pro will be targeting a Holiday 2024 release date. Insider’s previous report on the topic was debunked, but the publisher is now doubling down on this new release date, stating that it has a “100% degree of certainty” that the PlayStation 5 Pro is currently in development and the first dev kit prototypes will be sent to first-party developers within the coming months, and third-party developers will receive them shortly after.
