The actor, known for his roles in films like Django Unchained and Spider-Man: No Way Home, has been quiet about his medical condition following reports of an emergency last month. Jamie Foxx’s Medical Emergency Explained
In mid-April 2023, Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, posted on Instagram, saying Foxx was recovering from a “medical complication” at the hospital. The Spider-Man: No Way Home star did not make a public statement about his condition or recovery at the time. While it’s still unclear what caused Foxx’s hospitalization, his Instagram post is a sign that he is in the recovery process.
Starting his acting career on the sketch comedy series In Living Color, Foxx branched out to action and drama, such as 2017’s Baby Driver. According to People, stunt doubles and body doubles were used to shoot Foxx’s remaining scenes in the film, which has since wrapped production.
