While some of the game’s characters are voiced by actors making their first debuts, others have already made a name for themselves, and players might recognize their unique voices from previous roles. Here’s every famous English voice actor in Honkai: Star Rail, and the performances they’re best known for.
Honkai: Star Rail currently features 27 playable characters, but not all will be immediately available to the player. Some characters are free-to-play, whereas others will require spending money through the gacha system. However, each player can appreciate the voice actors behind each lovable face nonetheless.
25 Arlan – Dani Chambers
Arlan, the head of Security in Herta Space Station in Honkai: Space Rail, is voiced by Dani Chambers. Genshin Impact players may recognize Chambers’ voice as that of Nilou, but she is also known for her dub of the main protagonist Chise Hatori in The Ancient Magus’ Bride, as well as Becky Blackwell in Spy x Family.
24 Asta & Hook – Felecia Angelle
Felecia Angelle is the voice actor for both astronomer Asta and Moles boss Hook in Honkai: Star Rail. However, her range doesn’t stop there, as Angelle has also voiced Sakura Suzuhara in both Evangelion 3.0 and 3.0 + 1.01, as well as the Supreme Kai of Time in Dragon Ball: Xenoverse.
23 Bailu – Su Ling Chan
Bailu is an empathetic healer who is voiced by Su Ling Chan. Chan has previously played Mayday in the game No Straight Roads, and she has also voiced a plethora of roles for the Power Rangers Audio Drama, including Mrs. Oliver and both the Blue and Yellow Shadows.
22 Bronya – Madeline Reiter
The Silvermane Guards commander and heir to the Supreme Guardian of Belobog, Bronya, is played by Madeline Reiter. This is Reiter’s debut role as a voice actor.
21 Clara – Emily Sun
Clara is an orphaned, introverted young girl whose voice actor in Honkai: Star Rail is Emily Sun. Though Sun has experience playing a young Beatriz in the movie Thoughts Afar in Moonlight, this is also her first role as a voice actor.
20 Dan Heng – Nicholas Leung
Nicholas Leung voices Dan Heng, the stoic, jaded guard of the Astral Express. Leung has previously played Jason in the web series Stuck, as well as Tchoi Henchman in the movie Late Shift.
19 Gepard – Bryson Baugus
Gepard, the captain of the Silvermane Guards in Honkai: Star Rail, is voiced by Bryson Baugus. He is both a writer and a talented voice actor, who is best known for his roles as Shoyo Hinata in Haikyu!!, Bell Cranel in Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon?, and Yuga Ohdo across several Yu-Gi-Oh! games and shows.
18 Herta – PJ Mattson
Although she’s a low-tier character, Herta’s best character builds help her compete with other characters in Honkai: Star Rail. Herta’s voice actor PJ Mattson, however, is far from low-tier. Her most recognizable role is Sylvana throughout the World of Warcraft universe, including Shadowlands, Battle for Azeroth, and spin-offs like Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. She has also voiced Cheer Bear in Care Bears and Cousins, Care Bears: Totally Sweet Adventures, and Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot.
17 Himeko – Cia Court
Himeko, who is the navigator of the Astral Express and a seasoned scientist, is voiced by equally seasoned voice actor Cia Court. In the Genshin Impact universe, she plays NPCs Ogura Mio and Inagi Hotomi, but Court is better known for her roles as Vi in League of Legends, Faith in The Wolf Among Us, Nova in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores, and even various Sims in The Sims 4.
16 Jing Yuan – Alejandro Saab
Jing Yuan, the commander of the Xianzhou Luofu, is a wise and powerful character who is voiced by Alejandro Saab. Players may know his voice as that of Genshin‘s Cyno, but he has also starred in other notable media roles, including Shallot in Dragon Ball Legends, Yuri in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Tsukauchi in My Hero Academia, and Miyamura in Horimiya.
15 Kafka – Cheryl Texeria
The mysterious Stellaron Hunters member Kafka’s voice actor in Honkai: Star Rail is Cheryl Texeria, who is primarily known for her roles as a live-action actor, but brings a phenomenal voice to the character nonetheless. Texeria has played Katy Hart in Girl Meets World, Jane Ponderosa in It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Sierra in Parks and Recreation, and more.
14 March 7th – Skyler Davenport
Honkai: Star Rail’s March 7th is one of the game’s starting characters, but her past remains a mystery to both herself and to players. Her voice actor, Skyler Davenport, isn’t nearly as mysterious, though. Their past roles include Sophie in the film See for Me, Sarah in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and Rinoa Heartilly in Final Fantasy: Dissidia.
13 Natasha – Elizabeth Maxwell
Natasha, who is a doctor from Honkai: Star Rail‘s Underworld, is voiced by the accredited Elizabeth Maxwell. Maxwell is well known for playing Ymir in Attack on Titan, Urbosa in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Zephia and Selestia in Fire Emblem: Engage, and more.
12 Pela – Xanthe Huynh
Pela is the Intelligence Officer for the Silvermane Guards, and her voice actor in Honkai: Star Rail is Xanthe Huynh. Huynh’s past works include Haru Okumura in Persona 5, Bebe and Nagisa Momoe in Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Part III: The Rebellion Story, Mizuki Shibata in The Irregular at Magic High School, and Meiko Honma in Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day.
11 Qingque – Bryn Apprill
As a hilariously unmotivated Diviner of the Divination Commission, Qingque is voiced perfectly by Bryn Apprill. She has previously voiced Christa Lenz and Historia in Attack on Titan, Kaede in The Boy and the Beast, Hiyori Iki in Noragami, and several roles for Dragon Ball Super: Broly, including Bulla.
10 Sampo – Roger Rose
Sampo is a business-savvy mercenary hailing from the Underworld, and his memorable voice lines are brought to life by Roger Rose. Rose is known for his roles as Leopard Seal in Happy Feet, Captain Marvel and Vision in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Jetstream and Blade Wolf in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and more.
9 Seele – Molly Zhang
Seele is another Underworld native who is now a member of the Wildfire. Her voice actor in Honkai: Star Rail is Molly Zhang, who has acted in a plethora of productions; most notably, she plays Mellie and Pao in Sands of Aura and Cattleya in Path of the Midnight Sun, both of which are games that she has also directed.
8 Serval – Natalie Sistine
The mechanic and rock ‘n’ roll enthusiast Serval is played by Natalie Sistine. Sistine is known for her work as Angela in Marvel Avengers Academy, Yor Forger in Spy x Family, the Fox Devil in Chainsaw Man, and more.
7 Silver Wolf – Melissa Fahn
Silver Wolf is Honkai: Star Rail‘s edgy, genius hacker persona, and she is portrayed brilliantly by voice actor Melissa Fahn. 6 Sushang – Anjali Kunapaneni
Sushang is a hardworking and kind-spirited member of the Cloud Knights, who will stop at nothing to move up in the ranks. She is played by Anjali Kunapaneni, who has previously voiced Mimi Imimi in Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens, and several characters in the Genshin Impact universe, including Dori.
