Ciarán Hinds, best known for his role as Mance Rayder in the HBO mega-hit Game of Thrones, comes to Middle-earth in season 2 of The Rings of Power. Hinds is a prolific film, television, and theater actor who’s been cast in dozens of projects. In movies, Hinds appears in Miami Vice as FBI Agent John Fujima, Justice League as the DC villain Steppenwolf, and Belfast as “Pop,” a role which earned him SAG, Golden Globe, and Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor. Rory Kinnear In An Unknown Role
Rory Kinnear appears in season 2 of The Rings of Power in an unknown role. Kinnear has had an impressive career playing mostly supporting characters in significant movies and TV shows. While Adar is not new to the cast of The Rings of Power, the actor playing the original Elf-turned-orc is. Peter Mullan as Durin III: Peter Mullan plays Durin III in the second season of the fantasy series. A prolific actor, Mullan appears in Trainspotting, Braveheart, and Westworld.
Lloyd Owen as Elendil: Elendil, a king of Numenor, once again appears in The Rings of Power season 2. Lloyd Owen, who plays the character, plays Indiana Jones’s father, Dr. Henry Jones, in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.
Trystan Gravelle as Pharazôn: Gravelle returns to the cast of The Rings of Power as Pharazôn, the proud and ambitious ruler of Numenor. Gravelle is a recurring character in The Terror and Quiz.
Ema Horvath as Eärien: The daughter of Elendil and sister of Isilidur, Eärien returns to the cast of The Rings of Power for the second season. She is played by Ema Horvath, who has appeared in a handful of small-budget horror movies including Like.Share.Follow and What Lies Below.
Tyroe Muhafidin as Theo: The son of Bronwyn and the one who discovered the dark hilt, Theo is once again part of the cast in season 2 of The Rings of Power. This is Tyroe Muhafidin’s first major role, having only appeared in shorts and the miniseries Caravan.
