Coming across locked doors is common in games, and in Honkai: Star Rail, the triple authentication door in the Herta Space Station is one of them. Located inside the Base Zone, it will ask you for the ‘triple authentication verification card’ to open but then gives you no information on what that is or how to get it.
Star Rail players are more likely used to the grind of fighting enemies, completing side quests, farming items like Honkai: Star Rail‘s Stellar Jade, and continuously talking to random NPCs. However, such gameplay is all that’s needed to get the triple authentication verification card, which you can craft by combining three ‘access authentication cards.’ Each card is a piece of hidden bonus content meant for the player to stumble across as they scour the environment.
Where to Find The Three Access Authentication Cards
The first key is a simple quest reward locked away behind the Road to Revival side quest, which Arlan will message you before you get on the Astral Express. After beating the ‘Blaze Out of Space‘ enemy and before looting the chest, you will get your first Access Authentic Card. If you’re struggling, try leveling up or using a stronger Honkai: Star Rail character. The second Access Authentication Card is given to you after you talk to the NPC ‘Man with Afro‘ five times. And yes, that is really his name.
The third Access Authentication Card is in an out-of-the-way room in the Storage Zone. Take the ‘Outside the Control Center‘ teleport and make your way through the room beyond it, beating enemies and activating the bridges as you do. At the end, just before the room with the chest, there should be a glowing orange item drop. That’s the third Access Authentication Card.
How To Open The Triple Authentication Door
The three Access Authentication Cards can be combined into one item that opens the door. The two void rangers inside will attack you, but they should be easy enough to deal with as they are certainly not on the level of Honkai: Star Rail’s Doomsday Beast Boss. After defeating them, your reward for scouring the Herta Space Station and finding the three hidden away Access Cards is a chest containing an SR Light Cone. There are no hidden lore or special items as the room is just another office, but it lets you check one more treasure chest of the to-do list of any completions.

Similar to gacha-style games, players can acquire more characters to add to their party by summoning and engaging in fast-paced turn-based battles in this epic Sci-fi online RPG.
