March 7th in Honkai: Star Rail is of the Preservation Path which means her main stats are physically defensive. According to Honkailab, at max level, her base stats are highest in HP and Defense with Attack stat shortly behind.
Although her Speed affecting priority might be an issue, knowing what Talent does actually increases her turns of movement. She cuts the line in turn immediately after an ally when her shield gets hit, making her helpful in dealing more damage. By granting allies shields that attack back she can be very useful on a team.
March 7th’s Ascension Materials
When using March 7th in Honkai: Star Rail, make sure to keep her stats on level with the rest of the team, as she is necessary for protection. Luckily for her, the first few Ascension levels from 20-40 can be received and hunted early on as long as your Equilibrium level is at 1 and Trailblazer level is around 20.
At this time, Crimson Calyx should be found as they provide Ascension materials for each character. To find March 7th materials go to the Bud of Preservation in the Supply Zone level of Herta’s Space Station. The other materials will come as more progress is made with examples finding them from stores, synthesis, and harder Calyxs.

By progressing through the game with March 7th, players will have an easier time surviving.
