Marshall Glaze provides an update on his relationship status following his brutal breakup on Love Is Blind. Marshall offered his hand in marriage to one of the several season 4 villains, Jackie Bonds, who accepted. Viewers watched their relationship unravel and come to an end when Jackie no-showed the day of bridal dress shopping. Jackie later met with Josh Demas, a previous candidate of hers in the pods, who she ultimately ended up pursuing. Marshall presented as an emotionally mature man who genuinely wished to see the dating experiment through. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to do so.
Love Is Blind’s Marshall Glaze has revealed that he is dating someone following the recent drama and back-and-forths between him and his ex-fiancé. In an interview on The Viall Files podcast, Marshall was asked what his life entails following his Love Is Blind experience and subsequent drama. Marshall said, “So, I have been seeing someone.”
Marshall did not disclose the name of the woman he is dating, nor did he provide details on how they met. He did add that “she is a very private person,” implying that he did not meet her through Love Is Blind and that she is not a former or current reality TV personality.
Marshall Says Love Is Blind Is Affecting His Dating Life
When asked how he would label his relationship with the unnamed woman, Marshall said, “It’s complicated.” He says that he feels the need to learn how to navigate this new life and sudden public attention that follows reality TV stars on his own and that it is affecting his relationship with her. Marshall said that he wants “uncomplicate” things for them but outlines the real struggles that Love Is Blind alums endure. “I don’t know if I want to be in an exposed relationship with someone that I met in private,” he said, adding that she didn’t volunteer for that attention.
Reality TV stars are often questioned on their genuineness or blasted for their behavior, but Marshall’s name wasn’t spoken of in either category during the show. His intentions to find blind love and to put forth the effort required to save his relationship with Jackie weren’t debated, so to hear that he has moved on is heartening. What isn’t, is to hear the complications that he and other stars face when brought back to reality. He made a valid point when he explained the unfairness and challenges of dating someone who doesn’t wish to be in the public eye.
It has been confirmed that Marshall has not given up on love. It can be extremely difficult for anyone to recover from the type of heartache and drama that Marshall experienced with Jackie. To feel betrayed, weakened, and then dumped by someone he loved, all on camera, is something most can’t say they relate to. But he overcame the struggles that were presented to him and has moved on. It is unfortunate to hear that Marshall is experiencing difficulty in navigating his relationship with the mystery woman, but time will heal his heart, and he will learn to manage the media attention that follows Love Is Blind alum.
