Although these will be designed to stand alone, there will be a single overarching narrative running through them, one that ultimately builds up to an event movie. This is expected to feature Lars Mikkelsen’s live-action Grand Admiral Thrawn as the antagonist, with the various Imperial warlords secretly working together under his leadership.
