There’s only one episode left of Survivor season 44, and the finale has the potential to be an all-time great showdown. After the elimination of Jaime Lynn Ruiz in the penultimate episode, there are five players left in contention heading into the finale. There are the Tika Three alliance of Carolyn Wiger, Carson Garrett, and Yam Yam Arocho, as well as free agents Lauren Harpe and Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt.
The Tika Three, also known as the “Three Stooges,” have been an unstoppable force in the game. They expertly played the other two tribal alliances against each other after the merge, and they were able to make enough social inroads with their competitors to keep the target off of themselves. Despite coming into the merge with only three members, at least one of them is guaranteed a seat at the Final Tribal Council.
Survivor 44’s Tika Alliance Could All Make It To The End
There’s a strong possibility that the Tika alliance could get all three of its members to the Final Three, which would set up for one of the most compelling jury votes in the game’s history. Their path there is relatively simple. They just need to eliminate the two stragglers in Lauren and Heidi. Of course, a number of things could prevent Tika from filling all three finalist spots. With the Final Four Fire-Making Challenge, the three can’t simply pick off their opponents, and it’s definitely not out of the realm of possibility for a Tika to end up as the fourth-place finisher due to fire-making.
It seems that the trio is attempting to make it to the end together, as Yam Yam had the opportunity to turn on Carolyn at the Final Six vote but opted not to pull the trigger. Yam Yam recognizes the threat Carolyn poses in a jury vote, but despite his temptation, he chose to keep her in the game. Carson, on the other hand, has stated that he’s completely loyal to the alliance and hopes that all three of them make it to the end. There are a number of scenarios that could either make or break their chances of making it there together, but at the moment, it seems that their goal is to have an all-Tika Final Three.
An All-Tika Final Three Could Make Survivor History
In the event that Carson, Carolyn, and Yam Yam do make it all the way to the end together, it would be an incredible accomplishment and could lead to the most competitive finale in the history of the show. All three of them have played incredible games, and they each have had different strengths that contributed to the success of their alliance. If they are able to compete against one another for jury votes, it would make for a thrilling and unpredictable finish to the season. It’s not hard to imagine a Ghost Island-esque scenario with a tied vote.
If the Tika alliance can make it to the Final Three, it would be one of the few times a Survivor Final Three didn’t have at least one “jury goat” who would have no chance at receiving a significant amount of votes. Of course, there are a number of factors that will determine the final configuration of the Survivor 44 endgame, but it would be a major feat if Carson, Carolyn, and Yam Yam all make it there.
