The Venomous Tentacula is one of three combat plants available to witches and wizards in Hogwarts Legacy, and it can be obtained both within the school and at a nearby shop. Each combat plant proves useful in duels against various enemies as they inflict continuous damage, which can be increased with talent points. When used in combat, the Venomous Tentacula takes root and shoots venom at surrounding foes. Since it can target from a distance, this combat plant is particularly deadly, making it an inventory staple for many Hogwarts students.
Not to be confused with other plant items, such as Mallowsweet Leaves in Hogwarts Legacy, the Venomous Tentacula is primarily used for combat purposes. However, given its usefulness, the carnivorous plant is in high demand among Hogwarts students and faculty. You will need to obtain the Venomous Tentacula to complete several quests assigned by Professor Garlick and their classmates.
Where To Harvest Venomous Tentacula
The most accessible location in which you can harvest the Venomous Tentacula is the Greenhouse at Hogwarts. Professor Garlick instructs her students to plant Dittany Seeds, and the mature plant is regularly available to harvest in her greenhouse classroom.
You can equip the Venomous Tentacula by long-pressing the L1/LB button.
Similarly, mature Venomous Tentacula can be found inside the greenhouse opposite Professor Garlick’s class. Here, witches and wizards can harvest multiple Venomous Tentacula at once, allowing them to stock up on the deadly combat plant.
Where To Buy Venomous Tentacula
Venomous Tentacula seeds are more expensive than mature plants, so buying a single-use plant may be more cost-effective, to begin with.
Once students travel to Hogsmeade, they can purchase mature Venomous Tentacula for 600 Galleons or a Seed for 1,50 Galleons at a nearby botanical shop called Dogweed And Deathcap. The shop is located just North of Hogsmeade on the map, requiring witches and wizards to travel a short distance from the village.
How To Grow Venomous Tentacula
Large plants such as a Venomous Tentacula can take 15 real-life minutes to grow.
Once you have earned enough Galleons, you can purchase Venomous Tentacula seeds and grow them in a large pot in Hogwarts Legacy. Spellcraft for potting tables, ranging from small to large with one to five pots, can be purchased at Tomes And Scrolls in Hogsmeade. With the conjuring spell, you can conjure a potting table of your own liking once you have access to the Room of Requirement, as demonstrated by YouTuber ConCon. With potting tables, several magical plants can be grown simultaneously, and the mature plants will continue to generate goods once harvested in Hogwarts Legacy.
