After his recurring scenes in The Boys season 1, Simon Pegg’s Hugh only makes a cameo in The Boys season 3, where he appears to have left CIA protection. This scene seems to foreshadow his death because exiting CIA protection leaves him more vulnerable than ever and makes him an easy target for Homelander.
