It is unclear what exactly is wrong with Rose’s character in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 5. Most likely, she is suffering from a form of late-stage cancer. Although those with cancer typically are treated with chemotherapy or radiation, Rose’s illness may be so far developed that she decided to not treat it at all.
