Big Brother season 25’s right around the corner, and there have already been numerous rumors about what the milestone installment will entail, including some chatter about the cast. Each summer, the hit reality show has brought something new and exciting to the famous house. Now, with such an important season coming up, fans are expecting the show to go above and beyond for the upcoming installment.
At the conclusion of season 24 last summer, CBS confirmed that Big Brother would be returning for season 25 in the summer of 2023. Since the show’s been on the air for over 20 years, Big Brother has pulled off many surprises. Some have been more successful than others. While casting for Big Brother season 25’s happening, there’s still plenty of speculation. People wonder if the installment will consist of former houseguests. The generally reliable Twitter account @TheSpoilerGirl1 recently claimed that season 25 will be a “Vets vs. Newbies” season. Later, it was revealed that the production team has allegedly been in contact with alums, to talk about casting.
11 Taylor Hale, Season 24
Unsurprisingly, Big Brother season 24 winner Taylor Hale was allegedly asked to return to the famous house for the second summer in a row. Taylor is best known for having one of the most impressive comeback stories in the history of the show. Initially targeted as a threat, Taylor found herself being bullied by the rest of the houseguests. Then, after weeks of surviving eviction night, Taylor aligned herself with people that truly wanted to work with her. Thanks to the dominating Leftovers Alliance, Taylor sat in one of the final two chairs on finale night, ultimately winning the grand prize, via an 8-1 jury vote over Monte Taylor.
10 Jasmine Davis, Season 24
Jasmine Davis, who competed alongside Taylor last summer, has also supposedly been considered for a Big Brother Vets vs. Newbies season this summer. Despite making it to the jury, Jasmine primarily floated along in the game. Early on in the season, Jasmine twisted her ankle in a Head of Household competition. Jasmine used this injury to essentially advance in the game without needing to do much. Week after week, Jasmine sat out of competitions due to her ankle. She later revealed that she dragged out the injury in an effort to get ahead in the competition. It would be interesting to see Jasmine actually compete, without injuries in the mix.
9 Michael Bruner, Season 24
The last person from season 24 that has allegedly been contacted to return to the show this summer is Michael Bruner. It didn’t take long for the Big Brother super fan to earn the title of competition beast. Throughout his time in the house, Michael beat the record of most competition wins in one season. The title was previously held by Big Brother legend, Janelle Pierzina. Now that it’s well-known how good Michael is at the game, he would instantly be targeted as a threat, should he ever return to compete for a second time.
8 Kyland Young, Season 23
Big Brother 23 formed one of the most popular and successful alliances ever on the show, The Cookout. Of the six alliance members, Kyland Young is the only one to have been contacted to return for season 25. Kyland was a very intellectual player. Despite truly believing he’d be sitting in one of the final two chairs on finale night, Kyland ultimately came in fourth place. On his way out of the house, Kyland got in an altercation with Xavier Prather, who later won the season. Returning for season 25 this summer could be Kyland’s shot at redemption.
7 Brandon “Frenchie” French, Season 23
Although his alliance members reportedly haven’t been contacted, Kyland may still see a familiar face, should he return to the famous house this summer. Additionally, season 23’s Brandon “Frenchie” French has allegedly been in talks about returning. Frenchie won the first Head of Household of the summer in 2021. However, the power quickly went to his head. After running one of the messiest Head of Household reigns of all time, Frenchie was ultimately the second person evicted from the Big Brother house. If he competes again, he’ll probably bring the same drama.
6 Brett Robinson, Season 20
While the aforementioned Twitter account has not mentioned any names of potential returnees from seasons 22 or 21, there are three people in talks from Big Brother 20. The first season 20 alum that has been asked to return is Brett Robinson. Brett is best known for his bromance with fellow houseguest Winston Hines, and for stirring up drama inside the house. Brett did not win any Head of Household competitions, and only won the Power of Veto once. He ultimately came in sixth place. There’s a high probability that he’ll agree to return to the show, as Brett was recently on The Circle.
5 Haleigh Broucher, Season 20
The second person from Big Brother 20 that has been in talks to potentially return is rumored to be Haleigh Broucher. Although Haleigh found herself on the wrong side of the house in season 20, she had the potential of being an extremely strong competitor. Additionally, Haleigh was in a Big Brother showmance with Faysal Shafaat. This showmance ultimately affected her game in negative ways. Many fans want Haleigh to have a second chance in the game, to prove herself as a strong competitor, without those things holding her back.
4 Angie “Rockstar” Lantry, Season 20
Another player that constantly found herself on the wrong side of the house in season 20 was Angie “Rockstar” Lantry. Rockstar was closely aligned with Haleigh for a majority of her time inside the house. Brett, on the other hand, was her biggest rival in the game. The two got into a massive argument, after he falsely accused her of flipping an eviction vote. It would be interesting, and more than likely entertaining, to watch these two compete against each other yet again.
3 Cody & Jessica Nickson, Season 19
One of the most successful Big Brother showmances has been asked to return to the game. Season 19’s Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf have allegedly been contacted for season 25. Because Cody and Jessica are now married with three kids, they couldn’t both compete at the same time, but the two were asked. In a recent Instagram Q&A, Cody claimed that Big Brother would have to offer Jessica a lot of money, or she wouldn’t consider leaving her family and business.
2 Jason Dent, Season 19
Cody and Jessica are not the only season 19 alums to be asked if they would return for the upcoming season. Jason Dent has also allegedly been in contact with production regarding season 25. Despite being aligned with some of the most powerful people in the house, Jason ultimately came in seventh place, but he didn’t go down without a fight. Throughout his time in the game, Jason won two Head of Household reigns, and three Power of Vetoes.
1 Alex Ow, Season 19
Last but not least, season 19’s Alex Ow has also been asked about her interest in returning to the Big Brother house. Alex was closely aligned with Jason throughout the summer, and also pals with season winner Josh Martinez. Alex was a fiesty yet fierce competitor. She ultimately came in fifth place, with four overall competition wins under her belt. While these former houseguests have allegedly been asked to return for the upcoming BB season, it hasn’t been confirmed that season 25 will consist of former houseguests. Big Brother 25 is set to air sometime this summer.
