Gia Giudice, who appears with her mom Teresa Giudice on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, claimed that her aunt blocked her on Instagram amid their family feud. Her aunt, Melissa Gorga, who also appears on RHONJ, has been feuding with the Giudice family for quite some time now. The family drama continues to escalate, including with Gina, who called Joe Gorga an opportunist earlier this year.
Gia appeared as a guest on The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice’s podcast, Namaste B$tches, and that is where she claimed that Melissa blocked her. “It was just weird,” Gia explained. “One day, I guess, somebody told me she posted something about me, so I went to go look, and I was like, ‘I’m blocked on everything.’” She said that she appeared to not only be blocked from her public account but also her private and business accounts. While it is not confirmed if she is blocked or not, as that isn’t something Instagram shares with others, the two currently don’t follow each other.
RHONJ’s Melissa Gorga Only Follows One Giudice Family Member
Since Melissa doesn’t follow anyone in the Giudice family on Instagram, it isn’t too strange that she doesn’t follow Gia. The only exception is for her niece Gabriella Giudice, 18. With the ongoing feud between the Giudices and the Gorgas, the social media drama seems to be the least of their worries. Melissa and her husband Joe didn’t even attend Teresa and her now-husband Luis Ruelas’ wedding. After a nasty RHONJ season 13 reunion, the women definitely didn’t leave things on good terms, so RHONJ will continue to be very interesting going forward.
The two families have been feuding for quite some time. From personal issues and past grievances, it almost seems like there was never a time when Teresa and Melissa saw eye to eye. Then there is the relationship between Joe Giudice and Joe Gorga, who have had their own issues, from business and legal matters to getting into physical altercations with one another. On top of having these intense family relationships, it all gets to play out for the world to see on RHONJ, which of course adds another layer to the whole thing.
While RHONJ is known for drama and feuds, this could have been a plot pushed by producers and eventually turned into something more real. With all the competition between the women, it is a bit sad to see Teresa’s children getting caught up in the family drama as well. It would be a difficult spot for Gia to be in with Teresa and Melissa being in this state of chaos, as Gia was close to her aunt when she was younger. Hopefully, one day the families can come together and reconcile, but it doesn’t really appear that it will happen anytime soon with the accusations that are currently circulating.
