It is soooooooooooooo cold in Chicago right now! So cold that the schools are closed just for the cold. So I want to huddle inside and think about SRK and warm myself from the inside out.
I’ve got three categories! First, moral quality of “good” character. Second, entertainment value of “good” character. Third, romantic quality of “good” character.
Pathaan
Sensitive, freethinking, confident in himself, deeply romantic, very humanist
Vikram Rathore
Fearless, sure of himself, loving, kind, and happy.
Older Vikram Rathore
Simple but smart, ethical, practical, physically amazing
Azad
Heart on his sleeve deeply caring and deeply troubled, savior complex
Hardy Singh
Intense, lonely, caring, loyal above all things.
Most moral/heroic/admirable:
Hardy Singh! I didn’t like the movie, but the way his character developed especially in the second half was remarkable.
Most entertaining:
Older Vikram Rathore. Never seem a character like that before! He was just fun to watch and fun to see interact with others.
Most romantic/loveable:
Younger Vikram. Something strangely boyish in his fearlessness, his confidence that the world will turn out just and right, it is endearing.
